What Vitark is, and what it isn’t

Vitark helps you think a goal through: it breaks it into questions, investigates the ones you run, and shows how well each conclusion is supported. It is provided as it is, without warranty.

It is not advice

What the model writes can be wrong, and a source can be wrong or out of date. The board shows you what each claim rests on so you can judge it; the decision, and what follows from it, stays yours. Nothing on a board is legal, financial or medical advice.

Sources belong to their owners

Investigate links to pages Vitark did not write. Their content stays under their owners’ terms; a board quotes and points, it does not republish.

Pro

Pro is a monthly subscription that gives your account more searches a month; the pricing page says how many, and what it costs. Polar sells it for Vitark as the seller of record, so your payment, its tax and your receipts are between you and Polar, under Polar’s terms as well as these.

Top-ups

A top-up is a one-time purchase of more searches, sold by Polar the same way. Its searches never expire, and they are used only once the month’s allowance is gone. They belong to the account that bought them, and go with it if it is deleted.

Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like from manage billing on your account page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, it does not renew, and the free allowance applies after that. A payment that fails ends Pro the same way. Nothing on your boards changes with your plan.

Refunds

If you want your money back, write to us from the contact page within 14 days of a charge and it is refunded in full, to the card it came from. After 14 days, cancelling stops the next charge, and the period already paid for is not refunded. A refunded top-up takes back the searches it bought that are still unused; those already spent stay spent.

Your part

Don’t put anything on a board you aren’t allowed to send to the services named on the privacy page, and don’t use Vitark for anything unlawful.
